Upon Further Examination

Continuation:

Maybe not cognizance so much as crossing a very real, very visible, very tangible threshold where I am passing from a state of mind of pure consciousness, a primal sort of naturalistic being where I am more closely related to a mockingbird or a night owl, with his deepened vivacious questioning, and descending from the moist trees upon, clumsily clinging down the tree out of (dare I say) curiosity, landing upon the earth on my ass as a human being, full of doubt and worry, responsibility and the need, if not unbearable want, for transcendence.

It is a natural progression, one I am not too thrilled about but recognize and accept as order and the will of existence.

One I am happy to have someone to share it all with, though I hope she knows what I know.

Isn't that a true sentence: I hope she knows what I know.

How could anyone?

I certainly don't.
